Asustek launched the new Chromebook CX9, a powerful Chromebook designed for professionals. The cost has not yet been declared, and it will land in the North American market in the second quarter of 2021.

According to Asus, Chromebook CX9 uses the 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, which is rarely seen in Chromebooks.

The Chromebook CX9 is only 16 mm thick and weighs 997 grams. And ASUS stated that it meets the MIL-STD-810H US military’s durability standards, so quality should not be worried.

Additionally, Chromebook CX9 supports Wi-Fi 6 and Harman Kardon certified dual speakers, provides the new Thunderbolt 4 standard and HDMI output, and gives the Titan C security system, which is a security chip specifically designed by Google for Chromebooks.

Asustek has also released Chromebook Flip CX5 and C536. These two consumer-oriented Chromebooks will also use 11th-generation Intel processors. These models will be launched in the first quarter.
