Volkswagen Group delivered a total of 9.3054 million vehicles to consumers around world in 2020

Although Volkswagen Group’s annual delivery volume dropped sharply year-on-year, the situation is improving. Information from the official website of Volkswagen Group shows that in December last year, the year-on-year decline dropped to 3.2%, and the year-on-year decline in the fourth quarter was 5.7%.
The Volkswagen Group’s delivery volume in 2020 has dropped significantly year-on-year, but there are still many bright spots. Their share in the passenger car market in Europe and South America has developed, which also promotes a slight increase in their share in the global passenger car market.
By looking at electric vehicles, the Volkswagen Group has significantly improved. In the whole year, 231,600 pure electric vehicles were delivered which car was more than three times that of 73,700 in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 214%. 190,500 plug-in hybrid vehicles were delivered, a year-on-year increase of 175%, and in 2019 it was 69,200.
