According to the latest news, Windows 10X is supposed to be pushed to OEMs before the end of spring.
Microsoft hoped to create a dedicated Windows 10X experience for dual-screen devices, but reality shows that it is more likely to be piloted on a single-screen PC. Additionally, compared with the conventional Windows 10 operating system, ‘X’ mainly has greater visual changes.

Normally, the start menu of Windows 10 is called up from the lower-left corner. But the ‘Start Menu’ of Windows 10X is floating in the middle of the screen, which is very unsuitable for many users.
Additionally, Windows 10X mainly promotes native, progressive web applications (PWA), and web applications that can be quickly called. There is no application folder or icon grouping with the new system ‘Start Menu’.
In the upcoming Windows 10X system, Microsoft will introduce a feature called Anti-theft protection. This feature will prevent others from resetting your Windows 10X device to use it again after finding it.
Once you enable this feature in your Windows 10X device, you will need to enter your PIN or Microsoft account password to reset your device.
