As per the latest news, Xiaomi is testing 80W wireless flash charging. If it goes well, it is hoped to see mass production device listed in the first half of the year.
Some online users speculated that the first 80W wireless flash charging may be Xiaomi 11 Pro. Previously, Xiaomi launched its annual flagship Xiaomi Mi 11 in late December, but the rumored Mi 11 Pro did not appear.
As a magnified version of Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro is bound to go further in terms of screen, image, and charging.
At present, Xiaomi has supported 11 50W wireless flash charge, it is one of the industry’s highest wireless power charging models. According to the official introduction, Xiaomi Mi 11 uses a brand new custom charge pump.
Previously, the conversion efficiency of charge pump chips was about 95% and 96%. This time, the conversion efficiency of the customized charge pump has been further increased to more than 98.5%.
The charging efficiency is higher and the loss is lower, which reduces the energy loss during the charging process from the source. Secondly, the more efficient customized charge pump can also reduce the heat generated during the charging process, and the lower charging temperature further extends the duration of high-power charging and improves the charging speed.
