MSI launched the brand’s first solid-state drive on January 14. This product uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe protocol and can provide a continuous read speed of up to 7000MB/s and a continuous write speed of 6900MB/s.
Additionally, the product also provides a maximum capacity of 4TB to choose from, and the flash memory uses TLC particles.
The surface of this solid-state drive is covered with a wide area of the heat sink, and the back of the SSD is also fixed with a metal backplane, similar to a graphics card. This not only ensures the strength of the product but also facilitates the heat dissipation.
Officials stated that the mean time between failures of the new hard drive can reach 1.6 million hours and provide end-to-end data protection.
Many producers choose to commission other SSD manufacturers to produce solid-state drives. This product is very similar to the new ‘Ghost Tree’product lately launched by Kingston in terms of parameters.
This hard drive also has a maximum capacity of 4TB and a maximum read speed of 7000MB/s. According to news, MSI did not respond to whether this product is the same hard drive as Kingston Ghost Tree.
