Samsung officially released a new 100-megapixel sensor ISOCELL HM3, supports nine-in-one pixels

Samsung has earlier released a number of 100-megapixel sensors, and today, Samsung Electronics officially released a new 100-megapixel sensor ISOCELL HM3.

According to the report, the HM3 sensor is Samsung’s new flagship product, that can capture clearer and more vivid images with ultra-high-resolution, and has a faster focusing speed and greater dynamic range.

Same as the previously released 100 million pixel sensor, Samsung HM3 sensor also has 108 million pixels, the unit pixel is 0.8μm, and the sensor size is 1/1.33 inches. HM3 integrates an improved Super PD Plus function, by adding an AF-optimized microlens, the focus accuracy is increased by 50%.

 

Additionally, the Samsung HM3 sensor also supports nine-in-one pixels, and users can take a high-quality 12-megapixel photo through this function to improve shooting performance in low-light environments. Moreover, the new sensor has lower power consumption, which can further reduce the impact on battery life during shooting.
