Today, BAIC New Energy’s high-end brand ARCFOX Jihu announced that the new model ARCFOX αS has officially leaked. The new model is positioned as a pure electric medium and large sedan. NEDC has a maximum range of 708km and is supposed to be launched in 2021.
ARCFOX αS uses a design language similar to ARCFOX α-T. The front of the car is a closed front grille, with slender and sharp headlights and the shape of the fog light area, which makes the front face look aggressive.
The rear of the car has a richer sense of hierarchy, and the through-type taillights are decorated with LED light sources to enhance the visual effect and recognition at night.
According to the information, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4930/1940/1599mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2915mm, which is basically the same as BYD Han EV.
By looking at the power, ARCFOX αS offers two power versions, the maximum motor power is 160kW (218Ps) and 320kW (435Ps), and the peak torque is 360N·m and 720N·m respectively.
It is matched with battery packs with capacities of 66kWh, 67kWh, and 94kWh. NEDC has a range of 525km, 603km, and 708km respectively.
It is worth mentioning that the ARCFOX αS has a maximum cruising range of 708km, which also surpasses the Xiaopeng P7 (706km) to become the longest Chinese electric car in mass production.
