BYD’s new model ‘Ming’,will be equipped with latest generation of ‘DM-p’ technology

BYD’s Dynasty series models currently have ‘Qin’, ‘Han’, ‘Tang’, ‘Song’, and ‘Yuan’ models. To be sure, there will be new models coming to enrich the Dynasty model sequence.

Recently, a set of design drawings of BYD’s new models through online channels. At the same time, there is news that the car is suspected to be BYD’s new model ‘Ming’, and the car will also be furnished with the latest generation of ‘DM-p’ technology.

From the appearance point of view, the car may be a crossover model between SUV and sedan. The shape is very simple and clear, and the slip-back body and the oversized wheels all highlight the very distinctive sports style of the car.

It is worth mentioning that ‘Ming’ will also launch two models of Yin and Yang. Although both are positioned as SUV models, they have different body sizes. Among them, the size of the male is 4705/1897/1534mm; the size of the female is 5330/2070/1574mm.

The length of Yin’s body exceeds 5.3 meters in one fell swoop that inevitably also surprised many netizens. You must know that the body length of Mercedes-Benz’s top flagship SUV, GLS is only 5214mm.

And BYD’s model that is directly at 5.3 meters, is also positioned as an SUV. It is hard to imagine how huge the actual state of this model is.

Compared to the appearance, the power is also amazing. The car will be furnished with BYD’s latest generation DM-p platform, a 2.0T high-power engine, and three drive motors.

Among them, the motor power is 200kW, and the total power of the two motors on the rear axle is 300kW. The battery will use the second-generation blade battery.

Even if the power of the engine is not included, the power of the drive motor of the car has exceeded 500kW (680Ps), killing 99% of the models on the market.

If the power of the engine is added, the system power of the car will exceed 650kW. No wonder netizens joked: The power of this car has a ‘heavenly’ rhythm. Some time ago, BYD released the DM-i super hybrid technology. Unlike DM-p, which emphasizes power, DM-i pays more attention to fuel economy.

Its first equipped model, Qin Plus, has a measured fuel consumption of 3.6L per hundred kilometers, far surpassing the Japanese gasoline-electric hybrid models.

Although DM-p officially emphasized, the main power performance. However, the power of the vehicle’s drive motor exceeded 500kW when it came up, which still surprised many fans. Every car fan and friend must be very curious about how powerful the DM-p platform models are. For this, we just have to wait patiently.
