According to the news, MSI and Asustek both announced that they will soon launch AGESA 1.2.0.0 BIOS firmware for AMD 500 and 400 series motherboards.
Both mentioned optimized support and compatibility for Ryzen 5000 desktop CPUs and added Resizable-BAR functions to Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards.
As per the report, the AGESA 1.2.0.0 BIOS firmware will carry out some bug fixes and many CPU function improvements, and will also fix the hang problem during the CPU self-test.
According to official MSI, they plan to launch AMD AGESA 1.2.0.0 BIOS firmware for its X570, B550, A520 motherboards, and older X470 and B450 MAX series in January.
The X470 and B450 motherboard firmware is expected to be fully released in February. Asus is expected to release its own BIOS firmware at the same time.
