According to a report, Tesla’s Chinese Model Y officially started delivery in Shanghai at 10:30 today. As per the news, the Chinese Model Y Performance high-performance version is supposed to be delivered in the third quarter.
On January 1, Tesla announced that the Chinese produced medium-sized SUV Model Y and the new Model 3 were officially on sale, and the ‘Sensual’combination of products made its debut in China for the first time.
The Model Y Performance high-performance version and the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version are available in two versions, starting at 339,900 yuan. The starting price of the upgraded version of the new Model 3 standard battery life remains unchanged from 249,900 yuan.
Tesla also launched the Model 3 Performance high-performance version, priced at 339,900 yuan. According to Tesla’s official website in China, the long-life version of Model Y produced in China is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of this year, and the Performance version is expected to begin delivery in the third quarter.
In January 2019, the Tesla Super Factory started construction in Shanghai; in January 2020, the Chinese-made Model 3 was officially delivered and exported to Europe in the same year. In January 2021, Tesla brought the Locally produced Model Y.
