Acer has launched 3 true wireless headsets in India. One of the high-end headsets is sold under the Gateway brand and the other two are sold under the Acer brand. They are currently on sale on Amazon and Flipkart.
The common point of these 3 headsets is that their charging box can achieve a complete listening time of up to 28 hours, the headset alone can continue listening for 4 hours, and the charging time of the charging box takes one and a half hours.
Gateway TWS (GAHR012) is a high-end product with a 9mm drive and Bluetooth 5.0 connection function, charging through the USB-C port. The two Acer-branded TWS headsets are priced at INR 2500 and have very similar designs.
The difference between them is the charging method. The GAHR011 model has a built-in USB-C and a USB-A cable, so it can be plugged into the Type-C or Type-A interface for charging. Interestingly, the base at the bottom can be removed to decrease space usage.
GAHR010 has a built-in USB-A cable and a USB-C interface. Both 010 and 011 have 8mm drivers and the newer Bluetooth 5.1 standard support. These two headsets do not support aptX and LDAC, and can only be connected to one device at a time.
The three products together with the charging box weigh a total of 50g. Additionally, all three products support IPX4 waterproof rating (ie, sweat-proof). Gateway TWS (GAHR01 is priced at 3500 Indian rupees (about 309 yuan), and Acer TWS (GAHR010) and Acer TWS (GAHR011) are priced at 2500 Indian rupees (about 221 yuan).
