Yesterday, Epson released two Pro EX series commercial projectors, the models are Pro EX10000 and Pro EX9240. Additionally to EX3280 projectors. These products are all 3LCD design, the highest resolution is 1080P.
The first product is Pro EX10000 , which is the only projector in the new product that utilizes a laser backlight. Epson stated this is a breakthrough in commercial projection. The product has a maximum brightness of 4500 lumens and a projection area of 300 inches.
The 3LCD design can bring rich color performance and brightness, and the contrast ratio can reach 100,000:1 . The laser light source of this product has a life of up to 20,000 hours that greatly extends the life compared to traditional bulbs, avoids the problem of brightness attenuation, and reduces maintenance costs.
The projector has a resolution of 1080P, supports wireless projection, is equipped with dual HDMI interfaces, comes with 16W high-fidelity speakers, and supports automatic keystone correction. Pro EX10000 is priced at US$1299.99, which is approximately RMB 8421.
Epson launched three EX series projectors: up to 4500 lumens laser light source. The second product is Pro EX9240. This projector uses a traditional light source, but the brightness has reached 4000 lumens, which is enough to meet commercial needs.
The product has a resolution of 1080P, a maximum contrast ratio of 16000:1, and also has a 16W speaker, supports automatic keystone correction and wireless projection. The price of the product is US$849.99, which is approximately RMB 5506.
The EX3280 projector launched by Epson is not the Pro EX flagship series and is positioned at the commercial entry level. This projection has a resolution of XGA 1024×768, a maximum brightness of 3600 lumens, and a maximum contrast ratio of 15000:1.
Unlike the previous two models, this projector has no built-in speakers and does not support wireless connections. This model is priced at US$499.99, which is approximately RMB 3,239.
