MediaTek Dimensity 5G processor supports RT lite tracing rendering on mobile phones for first time

MediaTek launched e CPU, GPU, AI, and other units have also been fully upgraded. It is worth noting that on the Dimensity 1200/1100 series 5G processors, MediaTek also low-key announced one thing, that is, they have laid out the end game rendering technology-Ray Tracing.

From the comparison point of view, compared with traditional 3D rendering, the game screen rendered by RT light chase is brighter, the shadow effect is more realistic, and the overall picture quality is improved.

MediaTek announced that it will bring end game rendering to mobile terminals, give game producers, developers, and terminals with powerful graphics processing capabilities, bring mobile game players comparable real game screens, and lead the trend of mobile terminal graphics technology.

Currently, Optical Chase has support for dozens of 3A masterpieces in PC games, and new generation consoles such as PS5/XSX have also started to support it.

This is the first mobile phone to explicitly support Optical Chase, and companies such as Apple, Qualcomm, Samsung, and Huawei. 5G chips have no optical chase support.

However, MediaTek did not mention specific games. I don’t know which game will be the first to support MediaTek’s RT light pursuit technology.

Additionally, Dimensity 1200 is also furnished with a newly upgraded MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 game optimization engine that brings industry-leading innovations in the four core features of network optimization engine, control optimization engine, intelligent load control engine, and picture quality optimization engine.
