NVIDIA released an update of 461.33 graphics card driver, fixes many bugs

NVIDIA launched a hot update of the 461.33 graphics card driver yesterday that is a fix based on the official version of the 461.09 drivers. This update fixes many bugs that affect the operation of games and software. Standard and DCH versions are available. The update size is 601MB.

According to the description, the bugs fixed by the 461.33 driver update are:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro freezes when using GPU mercury accelerated preview engine.
  • The camera filter of NVIDIA Broadcast may hang.
  • Stuttering and lags occur when the Steam VR game starts (when no hardware monitoring tools are used).
  • The game “Detroit: Incarnate” crashes randomly.
  • NVENC Video Encoder: The color of the webcam video may be incorrect after the screen is zoomed.
  • Assassin’s Creed: Hall of Valor’ during additional game tasks, the game will crash randomly.
  • X4: Foundations’ (X4: Foundations) This game may crash when using RTX 30 series graphics cards.
  • The HUD in the ‘X4: Foundations’ game displays an error and is incomplete.

Nvidia launched the first official WHQL graphics card driver update of this year on January 7th, fixing many vulnerabilities, adding CUDA 11.2 support, and supporting the maximum frame rate limit of background apps. This 461.33 update is the first hot update. Users need to install the 461.09 drivers before installing them.
