Apple’s mobile phone is currently one of the most popular mobile phones in the world. It releases new flagship phones and a new iOS system every year.
The old iPhone launched a few years ago can also be adapted. However, Apple will release a new iOS 15 system in June this year, and some old iPhones can no longer be adopted.
As per the report, the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and 2016 iPhone SE are equipped with the A9 chip, the new iOS 15 system will not be able to support these old devices, they may only stay on iOS 14 forever.
If these mobile phone users want to experience the latest iOS system, they may need to replace iPhones with chips above A10.
Along with this, the iPad mini 4 launched in 2015, the iPad Air 2 launched in 2014, and the iPad 5 launched in 2017 cannot be upgraded to the iOS 15 system. They are furnished with A8, A8X, and A9 chips respectively.
However, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and new iPhone phones furnished with A10 chip can be upgraded to the iOS 15 system, and the seventh generation iPod touch can also run.
Some models have been released for several years, even if they can run the iOS 15 system, the actual experience may not be too good.
