Intel graphics driver supports DG1, ‘Cyberpunk 2077’no longer crashes

A few days ago, NVIDIA and AMD have launched the latest graphics card drivers. Intel’s graphics card driver version 27.20.100.9168 has also come, officially supporting its first independent display Iris Xe Max, which is a DG1 graphics card.

DG1 graphics cards based on Intel of Xe architecture and the nuclear was Iris Xe homology and divided into two parts mobile, desktop, name called Iris Xe MAX, Mobile up 96 execution units (768 stream processors ), 48 texture units, 24 the ROP barrier elements ( also low version but not published ), the core frequency 1.35GHz.

The desktop version is fixed to full 96 execution units, the core frequency is increased to 1.65GHz, and it is furnished with 4GB LPDDR4X independent video memory, with a bandwidth of 68GB/s-a simple calculation shows that the bit width is 128-bit and the memory frequency is 4266MHz.

Additionally,  to officially supporting DG1, the 27.20.100.9168 driver also provides support for several new games, including ‘Atelier Lysa 2: Lost Legends and Secret Fairies’, ‘Nioh 2 ‘, ‘Hitman 3 ‘ Wait.

In addition, the new version of the driver also fixes the following errors:

1, DX12 mode ‘Cyberpunk 2077 ‘ may crash during startup.

2. When using the Iris X graphics card, some games will have subtle screen abnormalities.

3. When using Iris Xe Max graphics card, games such as ‘Tomb Raider: Shadow’ and ‘Star Wars: Battlefront 2 ‘ will have subtle screen abnormalities in DX12 mode.

4. When using an Iris X graphics card and connecting a 4K DP monitor, the monitor will flicker after closing the lid or recovering from sleep mode.
