Intel i9-11900K appeared on Geekbench, with a single-core score close to 1,900
Intel’s upcoming new desktop processor i9-11900K has appeared on Geekbench 5, including a single-core score close to 1,900.
As per the report, the i9-11900K single-core scored 1892 points, which is 32.49% higher than the previous generation i9-10900K’s average running score that is similar to the single-core running scores of AMD’s 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X and 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X.
Intel promoted this i9-11900K at CES. The CPU has 8 cores and 16 threads, with a core frequency of up to 5.3GHz, supporting DDR4 memory up to 3200 MHz, and a total of 20 PCIe 4.0 channels. It is backward compatible with Intel 400 series chipset.
The official stated that compared to the previous generation, the IPC performance of the i9-11900K has increased by 19%, and the nuclear display performance has increased by 50%, and it can provide more powerful AI performance. Intel’s 11th generation desktop Core processor is supposed to be available in March.
