For many old players, all hope that Blizzard can remake ‘Diablo 2’, and the latest news shows that this is indeed in progress.
According to the latest report, VV will start the development of a remake of Blizzard’s beloved classic masterpiece ‘Diablo 2’.
For Blizzard, it is hoped that the ‘Diablo 2’ remake will be on par with ‘StarCraft: Remake’ and ‘Warcraft 3: Remake’ and become another classic game under its banner.
As per the report, Vicarious Visions (VV), a studio under Activision that was responsible for ‘Tony Hawk Professional Skateboard 1+2’ and ‘Crash Trilogy’, has been merged into Blizzard.
According to the latest news, this ‘Diablo 2’ remake will be named ‘Diablo 2: Resurrection’. Although this may not be the final game naming, this is currently what Blizzard has dubbed internally.
