Huawei has launched six original columns in game center: Huawei Phoenix Engine has achieved commercial use of ray tracing technology

Today, pollen annual meeting, Huawei also introduced a lot of achievements and plans in games. Huawei has launched six original columns in the game center, such as Beep, Road to Shangfen, etc., which can provide users with stories outside the game, game reviews, and news about new games.

Additionally, Huawei also stated that HMS Core has boosted game optimization, and the Huawei Phoenix Engine has now achieved the first commercial use of ray tracing technology in mobile games.

Huawei Phoenix Engine breaks the limitations of ray tracing technology on mobile platforms, builds core graphics capabilities in terms of image quality and energy consumption, and opens it through Huawei HMS SceneKit to make the reflections of characters on irregular objects such as curved glass marble columns more realistic.

The Huawei Phoenix Engine originated from GPU Turbo technology and is a graphics solution created by the Fields Lab of the Central Software Institute of Huawei 2012 Lab.

Huawei Phoenix Engine self-developed multi-layer BVH acceleration structure, multi-tree Traversal algorithm, built an efficient and Unbias RT-Core algorithm base, and realized the application of real-time ray tracing technology on the mobile side through the self-developed hybrid rendering pipeline based on Huawei hardware platform.
