Apple Face ID for iMac may come with the second version of redesigned iMac
Last year, Apple released the first Apple M1 chip for Mac that has been utilized in products such as MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac mini.
According to the current product update rhythm, Apple is likely to launch an iMac furnished with Apple M series chips in 2021.
Lately, the new iMac will use a new design language in addition to the Apple M chip. This is also another update of the iMac product line since 2012.
The shape of the new iMac will fit the design of Pro Display XDR, its body will be more bionic, and the original curved design will be canceled on the back.
Additionally, the future iMac is likely to support cellular networks and Face ID, but the first iMac equipped with the Apple M chip will not be adopted. Of course, if iMac can support cellular networks and Face ID, other products in the Mac family are likely to use these two technologies in the future.
As per the report, the new iMac will probably be launched in the fall of 2021. I believe that as the product release time approaches, we can also get more news about the new iMac.
