Apple’s foldable phone patent leaked, use of variable geometry and multiple cameras
According to the news, Apple is considering the possibility of releasing a foldable iPhone, which is supposed to be released in 2022.
As per the report, on a new patent from Apple. The patent explains the different features of Apple’s foldable phones from other brands of foldable-screen phones, namely the use of variable geometry and multiple cameras to take better photos.
According to the patent, the mobile phone is furnished with a camera on each half of the folding part, and then the angle of the two cameras is changed by folding. When the phone is folded inward.
If the camera is located on the outside of the phone, the user can take instant panoramic photos without moving the phone, and the photos taken have a very large angle. If the camera is on the inside of the phone, the camera will focus on the same object from two different sides to take a 3D photo.
Apple envisions that its foldable phone will be made of flexible fabric, and a series of cameras along the edge of the device takes photos from slightly different angles, which will allow various photography algorithms and techniques to be used.
It should be noted that these ideas are currently only on paper, and we cannot be sure whether Apple will implement these ideas. If Apple can really implement this concept on the future foldable iPhone, it will provide consumers with more reasons to buy.
