Meizu smartwatch goes online, supports eSIM 4G network, 7.5W charging

A TD-LTE wireless data terminal device model M007W has passed 3C certification. A well-known tipster revealed that this device is Meizu’s long-promoted Meizu Watch, using a smart system.

It can be used independently from the mobile phone, supports eSIM 4G network, and only supports 7.5W charging. It seems that the included charging adapter is canceled.

Additionally, he also corrected today’s speculation about the Meizu 17 models entering the network. It is worth mentioning that Meizu Wan Zhiqiang revealed earlier this month that the Meizu smartwatch Flyme Watch will be on sale in the first quarter of this year.

According to previous reports, Meizu Watch had already started off-line production before December last year. The device uses a 420mAh battery produced by Guardian.

Meizu had previously applied for the registration of trademarks such as ‘Flyme For WATCH’ and “MEIZU WATCH” for the watch system.

Additionally, Meizu’s official WeChat account also announced that Meizu plans to launch Flyme for Watch in the fourth quarter of 2020, confirming that the company plans to launch a smartwatch product.

Although the ticket has been skipped until this spring, it is at least confirmed that Meizu Watch is on the way. The smartwatch first appeared on the Meizu eighth anniversary celebration poster. The device uses a square display and is supposed to be the style of Meizu’s first smartwatch.
