Apple has released auto recruitment positions and started to quietly build auto teams

Today, Apple’s website listed some job vacancies. It can be seen between the lines that these positions seem to be provided for Apple’s driverless car manufacturing team.

According to the report, Apple has released more than 300 automotive-related recruitment positions in 2020, including battery power management, road safety, and automotive experience.

GlobalData describes it as a way for the company to commit to future scalable innovation projects’, which also means that Apple has entered a substantial stage of making cars.

GlobalData business fundamentals analyst Ajay Thalluri answered, ‘GlobalData’s job analysis database shows that Apple’s specific job positions are closely related to the development of proprietary software and battery technology.’

As per the news, the latest rumors surrounding Apple’s electric car Titan project, saying that the product will be released as early as 2024. Apple has also filed patent applications for car suspension systems and other car features, although patent applications do not necessarily translate into actual products.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple can provide better hardware, software, and service integration than potential competitors in the automotive market. Apple’s car chips are manufactured by TSMC. An EETimes analyst suggested that the chip could be called ‘C1’ or it could be based on the A12 Bionic processor.
