Microsoft launches system update for dual-screen phone Surface Duo: Improved stability, and fixed some bugs

According to the news, Microsoft previously promised to push monthly system updates for Surface Duo, but in December 2020 it skipped the current month’s update. Today Microsoft finally pushed a 576MB system update, which improved stability and fixed some bugs.

The update log is as follows:

  • Resolved the issues described in the Android Security Bulletin in December 2020 and January 2021
  • Improve the stability of the Surface Duo UI interface
  • Added the function of adding a caller in a conference call under certain circumstances
  • Improve the sound quality of external speakers
  • Improve touch stability

This dual-screen phone was unveiled in 2019 and officially released in 2020. The phone is furnished with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip and uses a hinged folding design.

The product is furnished with an Android system and supports dual screens to display different content separately to improve efficiency. The 128GB version is priced at about 9063 yuan.
