Android version of Chrome browser has released grid view and tab group functions
As per the news, the Android version of the Chrome browser has now released grid view and tab group functions.
As can be seen from the figure, the new version of the Chrome browser has replaced the original vertically stacked card list with a grid view.
Now each web page tab can be completely revealed, and users can slide the grid left and right to close the page.
On the other side, the user can merge multiple tabs into the same group, and the user can choose to ‘open in a new tab in the group’ by long-pressing any link.
When viewing the tab group, a new bottom bar switcher will appear, showing all the pages in the tab group. The inverted chevron symbol on the left can open the grid layout of the tab.
The grid view and tab group functions of the Android Chrome browser have been tested in grayscale version 88, but they have not yet been promoted. The iOS version of the Chrome browser has pushed these two functional improvements in the previous version.
If you feel that these two functions are not practical, you can enter the following address in the address bar and choose to disable it.
