A few days ago, Canon released a video, showing the MREAL S1 MR mixed reality glasses. The design of this product is very small and light, but it integrates AR and VR functions, and there is an additional optical sensor for position tracking next to the ear.
Canon MREAL S1 is furnished with four cameras on the front for real-time picture capture and spatial position perception. When the user uses it, the real picture is provided entirely by the camera.
This product needs a PC before you can use, Canon indicates that the product is currently the world’s smallest, lightest MR significant on your monitor. MREAL S1 can be used by enterprises and design users, combined with CAD software and hand-held control handles for simulation operation.
The weight of the display device itself is 137g, and the weight including the head beam is 338g. Canon previously released the MREAL Display MD-20 head-mounted MR display in April 2020, but this product uses optical lenses to display real images and is much larger than the latest product.
Currently, the Canon MREAL S1 MR mixed reality display is priced at as high as 38,000 US dollars, which is approximately 245,000 yuan. The official release date of the product has not been announced.
