Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 chip will be released soon, using Samsung 6nm process
A few days ago, Qualcomm released the Snapdragon 870 processor to reduce the possible overheating of the Snapdragon 888 and also fill the gap between high-end and flagship processors.
Additionally, a lot of information recently showed that Qualcomm seems to be preparing to launch a new high-end processor product, which is supposed to be named after the Snapdragon 775.
ePrice reported that if nothing unexpected, the Snapdragon 775 processor should be a successor to the previous Snapdragon 765G processor.
Previously, a processor named ‘SM7350’ appeared in the new version of the MIUI code. It is expected that this processor will be a new product of Qualcomm.
It is reported that the processor is produced including Samsung’s 6nm EUV process, but its positioning is lower than the Snapdragon 870 processor produced with TSMC’s 7nm process.
ePrice announced that this processor will be released as early as the first quarter of this year. After the processor is launched, it will be able to meet the production needs of more mobile phone manufacturers.
It is worth mentioning that, Xiaomi will release a variety of new phones in February, including the new version of Xiaomi 10, Xiaomi 11 camera lens, Redmi K40 series, and Redmi gaming phones Wait.
From this, we can guess that Xiaomi phones furnished with the Snapdragon 775 processor are likely to be unveiled together. If the guess is reliable, then Qualcomm will release the Snapdragon 775 processor before then.
