Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G bags GCF certification, launch imminent
Oppo released the Oppo Reno5 series and two smartphones named Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G in December 2020. Later, the company also announced the high-end model of the series, called Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G.
It is said that high-end models will only be launched in the Chinese market, and now the latest information indicates that the phone will also be available globally.
Previously, Oppo Reno5 Pro + 5G has obtained certifications including FCC and SIG. Now, according to the latest news, the phone with model number CPH2207 has appeared on the Global Certification Forum (GCF), which indicates that it is approaching the global version.
As revealed by the FCC certification, Oppo Reno5 Pro + 5G will be equipped with a 4450mAh battery and 65W fast charging capacity. It will have connectivity support, such as Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and 5G connectivity.

Although the GCF certification does not reveal any other details of the phone, we have enough information about the specifications and functions of the smartphone. The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch curved AMOLED display with a perforated display and a 90Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by an older Snapdragon 865 processor and comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera specifications, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP main lens for the quad rear camera setup, and the other cameras are 16MP (for ultra-wide angle), 13MP telephoto lens, and 2MP (for macro shooting).
Moreover, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security purposes and is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery and 65-watt fast charging. These are the specifications of the Chinese version, and it is expected that the global version will also have the same functions.
