Verizon OnePlus 8 5G UW receiving Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 firmware update

OnePlus has already delivered the OxygenOS 11 firmware update based on Android 11 to its OnePlus 8 series flagship. Now, after a long wait, Verizon-bound OnePlus 8 5G UW devices have begun to receive this major update in the United States.

As per the information, Verizon has begun to send Android 11 updates for OnePlus 8 5G UW smartphones. OnePlus 8 5G consumers restricted by Verizon can immediately check for updates to download and install new firmware.

T-Mobile is also rolling out the Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update to the OnePlus 8 5G. It brings the OxygenOS 11.0.1.1.IN55CB and comes with the following changelog:

You can also check for the latest software update manually by heading to device Settings > System > System Updates.
