Nokia 1.4 launched with a 6.51-inch large screen and 4000mAh battery

The new Nokia 1.4 has been launched, with upgrades in screen size and battery capacity. The price is 99 Euros (approximately 769 yuan) and will be sold worldwide starting today.

The biggest change of the new device is the new display that uses a 6.51-inch panel including a resolution of 720p+ (20:9). For comparison, the Nokia 1.3 display is 5.71 inches. Additionally, the new device now has a battery capacity of 4000 mAh.

However, the charging speed has not been upgraded, it is still 5W, and it is charged via micro USB. HMD promises that the new device can provide 2 days of battery life. The new device runs the Android 10 Go version out of the box and will soon be upgraded to Android 11 Go.

The device uses Qualcomm 215 chipset (quad-core Cortex-A53 1.3 GHz, Adreno 308), the low-profile version has only 1GB of memory and 16GB of storage space, but the top version has 3GB of memory and 64GB of storage space, and the MicroSD card slot supports the highest 128GB card.

Nokia 1.4 uses an Oreo-style camera bump on the back, and now has two cameras, one is the same 8-megapixel main camera as before, and the other is a newly added 2-megapixel macro camera.

Additionally, a fingerprint recognition module has been added below. This phone hopes that Google’s processing algorithm in the Camera Go application will improve camera performance through night and portrait modes and other functions. The phone also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

This phone has two nano-SIM card slots and supports LTE Cat.4. Additionally, there are Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS, providing a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which can be used to listen to FM radio.
