Swiss watch maker Henry Moser & C launched a square watch

Swiss watch producer H. Moser & Cie released a square watch priced at 30,800 US dollars today. The dial design is a bit like Apple Watch, and its second-hand design is even more impressive. Controversial.

In fact, as early as 2016, when Apple Watch first entered the watch industry, Henry Moser & Cie. launched a high-end mechanical watch called Swiss Alp Watch, with a rectangular dial + round edge and a crown on the side.

Several people think that this product is like Apple Watch, including the name ‘Alp Watch’. Today’s product is the second generation of Swiss Alp Watch, with ‘Final Upgrade’ added to the name, the ultimate upgrade.

The second hand is gone. Use an Apple-style loading symbol (also known as the symbol “turning chrysanthemum”), and only the minute and hour hands are on the dial that is relatively simple.

The producer made the description of this product a concept of a simple life: ‘No need for any updates, no bad settings, no unnecessary functions, no annoying notifications, but the only reminder you really need: get rid of all noise and cherish every A moment.’

The Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade is fully mechanized, with a 100% Swiss-made movement and a 96-hour power reserve. Henry Moser & Cie. has only produced 50 Last Upgrade watches. More information can be found on the company’s website.

To be honest, the square dial is not Apple’s first. The mechanical watch industry has long existed, but a large Swiss manufacturer made its own products so similar to Apple Watch that it even copied the second hand, which is a bit surprising.

Additionally,  to the appearance of this watch similar to the Apple Watch, the biggest slot is also the chrysanthemum turntable. As long as the users of Apple products should understand its meaning, who needs such an anxiety-inducing thing.
