Samsung Galaxy M30s gets Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update

In October 2020, Samsung declared the One UI 3 beta test plan for Galaxy S20 series devices. Later, the company expanded its Beta campaign to include more qualified flagship products and budget phones.

After two months of beta testing, the South Korean tech giant has started to provide Android 11 upgrades to Galaxy Note 20, Note 10, S10, Flip/Fold 2, and other smartphones. Furthermore, the company has also updated some popular mid-range phones, such as Galaxy A51, Galaxy M31, Galaxy M21, and Galaxy F41.

Now, according to the latest information, Samsung has pushed the One UI 3.0 function to the Galaxy M30s in India. However, the Galaxy M30s is a budget device, so it is getting the core version of One UI 3.0, which lacks some major features, such as Samsung DeX.

The Android 11 update for Galaxy M30s found on Twitter comes with a firmware version of M307FXXU4CUAG. In addition to the main Android version, it also adds a security patch released in January 2021, thereby enhancing system security against threats and CVEs.

It is not clear whether the company will expand this update to regions outside of India. Just like every time, it will be widely used in the coming days/weeks. If you have a Galaxy M30s model, please go to Device Settings>>Software Update>>Download and Install to manually check for updates.

Android 11 update has many new features and improvements, such as chat bubbles, one-time permissions, better privacy control, notification history, screen recorder, etc.

Samsung’s One UI 3.0 brings various changes in the user interface, and these changes are directly reflected on the lock screen, application drawer, notification panel, settings menu, etc. In addition, it has optimized the system and system functions to provide a better user experience.
