Samsung has introduced the latest Galaxy S series devices, namely Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. These premium smartphones are coupled with incredible hardware and software features, such as Snapdragon 888 / Exynos 2100 chipset, One UI 3.1 based on Android 11, Wi-Fi 6E, S Pen support for top variants, and more.
As per its tradition, the South Korean technology giant may launch the successor to Galaxy Z Fold 2 around the third quarter of this year. However, the company has not announced the Galaxy Z Flip 2/3 and Galaxy S21 series on Galaxy Unpacked in 2021. This indicates that the company may plan to launch at least two foldable phones in the future.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold device model will have the model number SM-F926. The company will release a foldable smartphone with at least 256GB of internal storage space. Moreover, it will be pre-installed with One UI 3.5 based on Android 11.
The next clamshell foldable device Galaxy Flip will carry the model number SM-F711. Galaxy Z Flip 2/3 will have an internal storage version of 128/256GB, and One UI 3.5 based on Android 11.
As we all know, Samsung launched One UI 2.5 and Galaxy Note 20 flagship products in the second half of 2020, so we can expect One UI 3.5 to be released at the same time this year.
Previous reports indicate that the South Korean technology company will discontinue the Galaxy Note series and incorporate foldable products into its mainstream. But at the launch of the Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung announced that it will launch a new Fan Edition smartphone every year. According to this statement, the Galaxy Note 20 FE is expected to be the last Note series phone.
However, Samsung has not announced plans for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 2/3, or Galaxy Note 20 FE. Whenever we receive any new information, we will promptly notify you.
