Huawei has launched Nova 7i smartphones with different names in different markets. The company released the device on the home ground as the Nova 6 SE and named it P40 Lite in Europe and Nova 7i in the Asia-Pacific region.
Now, Huawei has started to send a new security update for Nova 7i, which includes the security patch released in January 2021. The patch improves system security by fixing 4 critical levels, 1 medium level, and 25 advanced CVE levels.
Moreover, January 2021 security improvement already rolled out for Nova 6 SE that helps the smartphone to fight against the threats and enhance the system security.
Recently, the company has released a December 2020 security update for Huawei P40 Lite users. This update fixes the different level of exploits and issues that improves system security and overall device performance.

On the other hand, all the above-mentioned smartphones are eligible to get EMUI 11 software upgrades. But, at the moment there is no official information is available related EMUI 11 rollout.

- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates (system parameter) option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
