Recently, Lu Weibing, general manager of Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi, announced that the upcoming flagship Redmi K40 will be released on February 25, 2021. On the same day, RedmiBook Pro will also be released.

Now, two new Xiaomi smartphones have obtained the Network Access Management (TENAA) certificate for telecommunications equipment in China. These smartphones include the M2012K11AC and M2012K11C models of Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro.

According to the TENAA list, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro are similar in design. Both phones will be equipped with a small center-aligned perforated display, and a rectangular rear camera module with curved corners, reminding us of the Mi11. The camera system has two large camera sensors and two small sensors on both devices.

Regarding the specifications, only some details are mentioned, such as 5G support (SA and NSA) and dual SIM card support. Hopefully, the full specifications of these devices may be released soon.

Previously, we have reported that Redmi K40 will provide powerful performance, a flat-screen, and longer battery life.

In terms of specifications, the phone may have an OLED panel with a perforated design. It is said that it will be equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera and can support 5x zoom.

Moreover, the device can also be powered by Snapdragon 888 or 870 processors. The upcoming Redmi K40 can be equipped with dual stereo speakers and a long-lasting battery of about 4500 mAh.
