Verizon rolling out February 2021 security update for Samsung Galaxy S21
Just recently, after updating to One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 in the United States, Verizon-branded Samsung Galaxy Note 10 devices have begun their first firmware update in the form of new security patches.
Now, the carrier is rolling out new software updates to the newer Galaxy S21 flagship stores in the United States. The latest software updates for Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra bring security patches for February 2021 to improve system security.
In addition, it also provides system function improvements to enhance user experience. As we all know, every new software update fixes some unknown errors in the device and can also improve system performance.
Updated Software version:
- G991USQU1AUAG – Samsung Galaxy S21
- G996USQU1AUAG – Samsung Galaxy S21+
- G998USQU1AUA3 – Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
Apart from this, Samsung has also begun to provide the February 2021 security updates to the eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Till now, the unlocked variants of the Galaxy S20, Note 20, S9, and some mid-rangers have received the latest security patch.
On the other hand, the Korean tech giant has released the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 features to the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ tablets globally. Unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021, Samsung One UI 3.1 comes with some improved and added features over the One UI 3.0.
Moreover, there are reports on the Internet that Samsung may launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 2 around the third quarter of this year. These upcoming foldable products will be pre-installed with Android 11-based One UI 3.0 version. However, the future of the next-generation Galaxy Note smartphone is still up in the air.
