Graphics cards shortage makes situation worse, Inzhong stops two RTX 3060 Ti and 3070 graphics cards
Due to the continued popularity of digital currencies and the insufficient production capacity of chip foundries, the graphics cards of Nvidia and AMD are currently facing serious shortages.
As per the news, graphics card maker Inno3D is about to cut off its RTX 3060 Ti Twin X2 and RTX 3070 Twin X2 graphics cards and decided to notify consumers who pre-ordered. The news came from a foreign forum, and Yingzhong sent a notification email to the distributor.
The shortage of graphics cards makes the situation worse: Inzhong discontinues two RTX 3060 Ti and 3070 graphics cards. The notice stated that these two graphics cards have been cut off, and will no longer be offered, and no replacement models are planned.
Additionally, other new RTX 3060 series graphics cards will not be launched in the near future. The RTX 3060 Ti, 3060 TwinX2, and OC versions are still displayed on the official website.
According to the news, that this may mean that Inzhong will focus on higher-end graphics cards because there will be more revenue. There are reports that Nvidia’s supply of RTX 3060 Ti and 3080 graphics cards in the first quarter will be very small.
Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti graphics card uses Ampere architecture, which not only improves game performance but also has DLSS, light tracking, and other functions. The second-generation RT CORE of the graphics card has doubled the throughput, and the SM multi-unit stream processor also has twice the FP32 throughput.
Since the mining efficiency of RTX 30 series graphics cards has been significantly improved compared to RTX 20 series, a large number of miners purchase graphics cards, which has caused the current shortage in the market.
