In December 2020, Huawei revealed the new members of the existing Nova series, Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. The Nova series consists of the company’s mid-range smartphones with outstanding features.
Nova 8 series devices have a large OLED FHD+ display, a 7nm Kirin 985 processor with 5G capabilities, an EMUI 11 OS appearance, a 90-120Hz refresh rate, 240-300Hz touch sampling, a powerful battery, etc.
Last week, Huawei improves the camera effect, fingerprint unlocking, and system functions of Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro devices by providing a new software version, thereby improving the overall performance of the device.
To further improve, Huawei is now sending a new software update for the Nova 8 smartphone, which improves the off-screen display interface to enhance the user experience.

How to update:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device

- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
