Huawei Smart Camera Pro 64GB version goes on sale in China

The Pro version of the Huawei Puffin smart camera will go on sale on January 5. It will be only available in a 32GB version, priced at 299 yuan($46.30 US). Recently, the 64GB version of this smart camera is officially on sale, priced at 399 yuan($61.78 US).

The camera is equipped with Hongmeng HarmonyOS which supports Huawei’s HiLink ecological chain and can be connected to devices such as smart TVs. The product comes with a 3 million pixels ultra-sensitive CMOS, F1.6 large aperture.

Meanwhile, the image processor uses a chip independently developed by Huawei HiSilicon to ensure transparent and natural image quality.

In terms of video, Huawei’s Puffin Smart Camera Pro uses H.265 video encoding, which is more efficient. The camera supports WDR intelligent dimming function, which can automatically increase the dynamic range and display more details. At the same time, the intelligent PQ face technology can improve portrait performance in backlight environments.

In terms of functions, the camera supports AI humanoid detection, crying detection, motion tracking, and other functions. It can automatically push messages and classify and mark faces and scenes.

Huawei’s Puffin Smart Camera Pro features a 3-meter power cord and supports three installation modes: flat panel, wall, and ceiling. The pan/tilt supports 360° horizontal rotation and 150° vertical adjustment.

Moreover, the camera also provides an unlimited amount of encrypted cloud storage, supports 1/4/8/16 times the viewing speed, supports 7/15/30 days of storage time, and multiple recording methods. Users need to purchase cloud storage plan packages.
