Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro getting new firmware update with new privacy feature and improvements

Huawei has begun to deliver a new firmware update for Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro, which has the latest features and optimizations and can be further improved to enhance the user experience.

According to the changelog, it added a new password function and optimized for running segmentation, female menstruation, UI interface, and system stability.

Updated Version:

  • Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro getting new firmware 11.0.4.22 updated from 10.1.3.42.

In the previous update, Watch GT 2 Pro brings a new build version and system stability optimization, which can help the device to run more stably and exceed device performance.

Last month, Huawei released the new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro New Year Edition. It offers a 1.39-inch sapphire glass, 100+ workout modes, Sp02 monitoring, new aesthetics including the new red and black nylon braided strap, customizable watch faces, and more.

It is worth mentioning that in the past, Huawei announced two new features, including drainage mode and password lock for Watch GT 2 Pro users. Drain mode allows users to drain excess water from the watch. Meanwhile, pin locks provide more security.

How to update:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.

NOTE:

  1. The update progress in the app is just for transferring the update package, it still needs to be installed on the watch for the update to complete.
  2. The watch needs to have at least 20% battery to update.
  3. Make sure the Bluetooth connection is stable during the update. Try again if the update fails.
