Google Search receives dark modes on desktop, will support Win10 and macOS

Posted on

Currently, the dark mode has gradually spread from mobile apps to desktop systems and software. The current Win10 system already supports dark mode that can be turned on in the settings.

Google Search webpage has also started to test the dark mode, which will support Win10 and macOS. The Google Search web version opens dark mode testing for some users.

If your operating system is switched to dark mode when you visit the Google Search homepage, a notification will appear and you can choose to enable this feature.

Google is not only testing the dark mode but will also apply a color matching the dark mode to the label color to maintain a uniform style. Google will also test Chromium’s new features in order to adapt to local themes.

When a new theme profile is created, the browser will select a color that matches the theme color, regardless of whether it is in dark mode or bright mode.
