Samsung launched Galaxy F62 with Exynos 9825, One UI 3.1, 7000mAh battery, and more
A few weeks ago, Flipkart teased Samsung’s next Galaxy F series devices. Later, India Flipkart updated its website and revealed the name of the phone as Galaxy F62. In addition to the name, the company also announced the release date of this phone and some key specifications.
Now, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy F62 mid-range smartphone with a flagship processor and 7000mAh battery. It is powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset, which is also equipped with the company’s Galaxy Note 10 flagship product. This smartphone has a lot to explore, so let’s skip to further details.
Price & Availability:
Samsung has exclusively launched the Galaxy F62 in India while there are no details on whether it will be available in other markets or not. In India, it comes with a starting price of INR 23,999 (around $330) for the 6GB RAM variant. On the other side, the 8GB RAM variant costs INR 25,999 (around $358).
The Galaxy F62 will be shipped via Samsung Shop, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and select Reliance Jio Stores from February 22 (at 12:00 PM). Users can also grab an INR 2,500 cashback when making payment using ICICI Bank credit and debit cards.

The Galaxy F62 sports a 6.7″ Super AMOLED+ Infinity-O display alongside Full HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. On the side, it has a fingerprint sensor on the power button for biometric authentication. On the back, it has a square-shaped quad-camera setup as well as an LED flash below.
Camera:
In the camera department, the Galaxy F62 equips a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth camera. Furthermore, it has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It can also shoot 4K videos using front and rear cameras.

As highlighted above, the Galaxy F62 is powered by a 7nm process-based Exynos 9825 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage to deliver a faster performance among all the mid-rangers. This flagship-grade chipset has two Mongoose M4 CPU cores, two Cortex-A75 CPU cores, four Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and a Mali-G76 MP12 GPU.
On the other hand, the Korean tech giant is shipping the Galaxy F62 pre-installed with Android 11 based One UI 3.1. However, this handset runs on the Core version which is a lighter type of One UI and lacks some major features such as Samsung DeX.
