February 2021 security update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Note 10

In December 2020, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series products have begun to receive the stable Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update. In addition to international models, Note 10 and Note 10+, which are locked by operators, have also joined the ranks through the One UI 3.0 update launched in the United States.

According to the latest information, Samsung has pushed new firmware updates for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ smartphones. Identified via build version EUB2, the latest software update for the Galaxy Note 10 phones installs the February 2021 security patch.

Starting in Morocco, this update has started rolling out in multiple countries such as the UAE, South Africa, and Uzbekistan. Since it’s an initial rollout, so it may take some time to hit every Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ handset.

The Korean technology giant has described this patch in detail as a patch that can fix 4 serious threats and 32 advanced threats and vulnerabilities. In addition to security improvements, it also enhances system functions to improve equipment performance.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ have already received their second major Android upgrade in the form of Android 11. Samsung One UI 3.0 is based on Android 11 and comes with a refreshed user interface as well as a revamped lock screen, home screen, app drawer, and more.

How to check for the update:

  • Open device Settings
  • Find and select the Software updates menu
  • Finally, tap on Download and install button.
