Samsung Galaxy Fold gets Android 11 One UI 3.0 update in the US

Last month, Galaxy Fold has begun to receive One UI 3.0 firmware updates in multiple markets including Europe and Asia. Now, according to the latest information, Samsung’s first-generation foldable smartphones are receiving major Android upgrades in the United States.

After the international variants, the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 software update for the US unlocked Samsung Galaxy Fold bears a build version F900U1UEU4DUA3. Moreover, the update also includes the latest February 2021 security patch for increased system security.

Samsung One UI 3.0 is based on Google’s Android 11 comes with an updated user interface and modified lock screen, home screen, application drawer, settings menu, etc. In addition, it also brings system optimization to enhance user experience.

On the other hand, Galaxy Fold users will get some exciting new features through Android 11, including built-in screen recording, one-time permissions, speech bubbles, better privacy controls, notification history, and more.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20, Note 10, S10, Z-fold/page flip, Z-fold 2, Galaxy A51, A71, M31, M21, F41, M31s, and M30s have received the main Android 11 and one UI 3.0 features so far.

How to check for updates manually:

  • Open device Settings
  • Find and select the Software updates menu
  • Finally, tap on Download and install button.
