Netflix is producing an animation series based on Valve’s popular game ‘Dota2’. This 8-episode series of animation is named ‘Dota: Dragon’s Blood’ and will be released on March 25.
Netflix said that the upcoming fantasy drama tells the story of the famous dragon knight Davion, who is committed to eliminating disasters around the world. After meeting princess Mirana on a secret mission, Davion was involved in a bigger incident he hadn’t supposed to.
The series of animations will be produced by Studio MIR, which has produced ‘The Legend of Kola’ and Netflix’s ‘StarCraft: Legendary Guardians’.
‘Dota2’ is not the only large free MOBA game with an animated series. Riot Games is producing an animated series ‘Arcane’ based on the ‘League of Legends’ universe. The animation was originally scheduled to be released in 2020 and is now scheduled to be released sometime this year.
