Recently, Samsung initially announced a security update for February 2021 to Galaxy Note 9 devices in Germany. Now, the 2018 flagship product is receiving new software updates in the United States. One of the largest network operators in the United States-Verizon has pushed the latest security patch to its locked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 mobile phone.
In addition to the security patch in February 2021, the Galaxy Note 9’s firmware update has also improved the stability of the system, enhanced system functions, and fixed some unknown issues to provide a better user experience.
Identified via build version N960USQS7FUA1, it is the 27th system update for the Galaxy Note 9 from Verizon. However, the OEM has already declared that this older flagship smartphone will not get another major Android upgrade after the Android 10-based One UI 2.5.
The Korean tech giant is committed to delivering regular security update four years from the launch date of Galaxy Note 9. You can check the changelog of this update below.
