Intel’s 11th-generation Core desktop processor Rocket Lake-S will be available on March 15. The 11th-generation Core desktop processor will be launched on March 15.
Although the highest model has been decreased from the previous generation’s 10-core to 8-core, the single-core performance has been significantly improved.
In October last year, Intel declared information about the 11th generation desktop Core processor Rocket Lake-S.
Intel claims that Rocket Lake-S utilizes the Cypress Cove architecture and will give up to a double-digit percentage rise in IPC.
Intel Rocket Lake-S has up to 8 cores and 16 threads. On the other side, the 11th generation desktop Core has 20 PCIe 4.0 channels, integrates a USB 3.2 Gen 2*2 control chip, and supports the Intel 500 series chipset.
Intel Rocket Lake-S will also use a UHD 750 core display, 256 stream processor, 1.3GHz frequency, which is about 50% higher than UHD 630.
