Samsung Galaxy Note 20 getting One UI 3.1 update with new camera features and more

Samsung officially announced the One UI 3.1 software update plan for qualified Galaxy devices. Samsung said that the latest One UI 3.1 version brings some powerful cameras and productivity features to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones.

After announcing this news, the Korean techn giant introduced the One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy S20 series in certain countries, including Germany and South Korea. Now, Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra also get the latest changes to One UI 3.1 via OTA.

  • N980FXXU1DUB6/N981BFXXU1DUB6 – Samsung Galaxy Note 20

Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users will be able to use the new smart camera features to take dynamic photos and videos. These features include improved “single shot”, touch autofocus, auto exposure controller, object eraser tool and Multi-microphone recording.

In addition, after updating the Galaxy Note 20 smartphone, you can find the new Eye Comfort Shield mode of One UI 3.1. This new feature will automatically adjust the blue light according to the time of day. In addition, you can delete the metadata showing the location of the photo before sharing the photo.

Identified by the issue number DUB6, the new software update is currently available for the Galaxy Note 20 version in Germany and Russia. Since this is the first launch, it may take some time to be used on all Galaxy Note 20 smartphones.

The firmware installs the security patch from February 2021, which fixes 4 critical CVEs and 32 high-level CVEs to improve device security.
