Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong declared today that riders of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class can experience the HMS for Car fast application service.
Consumers can utilize a variety of third-party apps on the large screen of the car’s central control and can enjoy various in-car entertainment functions like reading news, listening to stories, watching videos, and playing games while resting after driving.
Huawei HMS for Car is a solution created by Huawei’s terminal cloud service for automobiles, including functions like the in-vehicle application market and Huawei’s smart assistant.
The quick application service released on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class this time allows the application to run on the in-vehicle central control screen without installing it, just click and use.
The promo revealed that icons of various apps such as SF Express, Lychee, Bilibili, etc. appeared on the screen. Yu Chengdong said that as a smart car cloud service solution, Huawei HMS for Car will continue to give everyone a high-quality travel life based on the rich application ecology of Huawei’s terminal cloud.
The 2021 brand new Mercedes-Benz S-Class includes S400L, S450L, and S500L models, with rates starting at RMB 899,000. The central control screen is a 12.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1888×1728. The vehicle also has a voice assistant and OTA remote upgrade functions.
