Redmi K40 appears on GeekBench, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870

A model with the model number M2012K11AC appeared in the database of the benchmarking website GeekBench yesterday. According to previous reports, the device is the Redmi K40 basic version.

The device is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile platform, single-core 1012/1016 points, multi-core 3467/3332 points, 8GB storage, pre-installed Android 11 system.

The Redmi K40 has previously declared the appearance of the real device. It has a Damascus texture and utilizes a rounded rectangular rear lens module. Two of the symmetrical cameras appear to be larger, while the symmetrical circle of the other camera is temporarily unknown.

The Redmi K40 series will release Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. It is supposed to be equipped with Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 chips, using a 6.67-inch centered perforated screen, using Samsung’s latest E4 AMOLED luminescent material, supporting 120Hz Refresh rate, the front camera opening is about 2.8mm.

Redmi K40 Pro will also be equipped with a 108 million pixel main camera + 8 million pixels + 5 million pixels + 2 million pixels four-camera solution, and a 30 million pixel camera for the front camera.

The whole system comes standard with a 4520mAh large-capacity battery and supports 33W fast charging. Additionally, the device will also support Dolby Atmos and has dual Hi-Res small gold standard certification.

Redmi K40 series models will meet with you on February 25th. Currently, pre-orders have been opened on major e-commerce platforms like Xiaomi Mall and JD.com.
